The Mississippi River Scenic Drive was started in 2006 for the purpose of showing the Midwest just how beautiful it is here in West Central Illinois and Southeast Iowa during the glorious fall.

The event will include Nauvoo, Hamilton, Warsaw, Keokuk, Montrose and Fort Madison. Other communities directly related to the proximity of the event are also planning events to coincide with this weekend long event.  The long and beautiful fall weekend will include a wide array of activities and family fun for all ages in every community.

Drive along the majestic Mississippi River connecting them all, as the splendor of the Midwestern fall paints the landscape in rich hues of orange and red.  Travel to all of them, take in the sights, sounds and local flavors.

Nestled along the mighty Mississippi River, each of these quaint communities has something to see and do. Not merely tied together by the Great River Road Loop, but joined by our heritage and hospitality for all visitors to come and enjoy. 

The 2nd Annual Mississippi River Scenic Drive will be bigger and better this year with entertainment, food and fun sure to make a memorable weekend.  You can enjoy Antiques, Live Entertainment, Antique Cars, Shopping, Sightseeing, Crafts and lots of food and fun for everyone.
